Distinguished Awards in Teaching Programme

The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching programme recognises and encourages excellence in teaching in the US and abroad.

TheÌýÌý(Fulbright DA) provides an opportunity for K–12 educators from the United States to conduct research and engage in other professional learning experiences abroad for three to six months. Fulbright Distinguished fellows complete individual inquiry projects on a topic relevant to education in the United States and the host country, take courses at a host university, and share educational practices with colleagues.

The Distinguished Awards in Teaching are a separate and distinct programme to the core Scholar Awards.

The following UK institutions have agreed to host Fulbright Distinguished Teachers:

Applicants areÌýasked to research the UK partner institutionsÌýlistedÌýandÌýif they have a preference, to indicate this preferenceÌýin the Inquiry Project Proposal of the application. Indicating a preference is optional and will not impact the selection process.ÌýÌýPlease note that the US-UK Â鶹ÊÓƵ is unable to place teachers at non-partner institutions.ÌýÌýÌý
