The Fulbright Scotland Summer Institute on Technology, Innovation and Creativity is an academic and cultural programme for US students, hosted by the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Strathclyde.Ìý

  • GSA’s Mackintosh Building, one of the world’s finest examples of modernist architectureÌý

Participants will consider the forces that have shaped the past and are shaping the future of Scotland as a technological,ÌýinnovativeÌýand creative society. They will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural role of Scottish institutions, historic spaces and places, national galleries and museums and the evolution of Scotland’s place in the world.Ìý

Students will be hosted at the GSA’sÌýÌýstudent resident, a short walk from both the GSA and Strathclyde campuses in the heart of the cityÌýand alsoÌýat the GSA’s new campus in the Scottish Highlands. The Blair’s Steading on theÌýAltyreÌýEstate nearÌýForresÌýhas been transformed into a world-class research and teaching space. This is an unparalleled opportunity forÌýparticipantsÌýto study within a newly renovated campus in spectacular surroundings.Ìý

A stipend for meals and subsistence will be provided upon arrival.Ìý

This programme is not accredited. Participants will not receive any credits for this programme.
